Spotlight on Vocabulary!

HELLO!!

Today we focused on 6 words that will be our vocabulary words for our first story in our reading series-Storytown!  We used a graphic organizer to understand the words!  Ask your child about the following words:  sincere, humiliation, fringes, coaxed, hesitating, and expectations.

We also read more in our book club books!

Recap of 1st Week!!!

Woot...the 1st week of school went extremely fast, was incredibly fun, and explosively fun.  The Nelson Team went over many procedures and routines to ensure student success and achievement.  Additionally, we also played brain break games, ice breakers, and get to know you activities.  Here are a few pictures from the week.  Enjoy!
