Summary Sheet

All year I worked on having my 2nd Graders being able to accurately and descriptively retell a selection that they read.  I also created this sheet as a way for them to identify three key words in the selection and then write a summary of what they read.  With modeling and several exercises doing retells and summaries, my 2nd Graders were able to make great progress and also identify how they improved from the beginning of the year.
